Nepal to Japan
After surprisingly uneventful flights from Pokhara to Kathmandu and onto Tokyo, we are in Japan! Things are going well so far: we have taken a bullet train, eaten things that we can’t specifically identify, and are marveling at the wonders of vending machines and convenience stores. For the next two weeks, we’ll be riding around the eastern island of Shikoku. First we have to cross the beautiful Shimanami Kaido Bike Path – a series of bridges that links Japan’s largest island of Honshu to Shikoku, passing through a number of smaller islands along the way.
And there are still lots of stories and pictures to catch up on – both from India and Nepal.
